ABOUT PABLO

I teach the person in front of me, not a standard lesson plan.

My role is to understand what your Spanish needs to do, create the right amount of challenge and make the next step clear.

Pablo Castro, Spanish teacher
Pablo Castro · Native Spanish speaker from Colombia

I have spent more than 16 years helping learners turn knowledge into communication.

I’m a native Spanish speaker from Colombia. Much of my work has been one-to-one, with adults and professionals who need learning to fit a real life rather than a textbook sequence.

From 2013 to 2020, I taught general Spanish from A1 to C2 to adults at Instituto Cervantes, where I also worked as an accredited DELE examiner. That experience continues to shape my teaching and the feedback I give learners.

My lessons are centred on Spanish, with explanations in English and some Russian support when helpful. I aim for a classroom that feels exacting without being tense: a place where errors give us useful information and speaking becomes more natural through well-chosen practice.
