AN EXAMINER’S PERSPECTIVE
Build the Spanish. Understand the exam.
Pablo is an accredited DELE examiner for adult/general exams across A1–C2. That experience helps you see what the assessment criteria reward and where your answers can improve.
The number and frequency of lessons are agreed after your first assessment. Levels are not tied to fixed packages — any option can be used for any level.

What we work on for your DELE
The four skills are practised in the task formats required by your DELE level. Selected tasks may combine reading, listening, writing and speaking.
Reading
Understand texts of the right length and register, find key information and recognise how questions are built.
Writing
Plan, organise and review texts for the task, with specific feedback on content, coherence and accuracy.
Illustrative teaching example
Example of lesson feedback · DELE Preparation
Original exam practice example
Explain a choice and support it: would you rather live in a city or a small town?
“Prefiero la ciudad. Hay muchas cosas. Es más interesante.”The choice is clear, but the task asks you to support it: the reasons are general and the ideas are not connected.
Listening
Follow announcements, conversations and talks, and practise catching the detail a task asks for.
Speaking
Prepare, present and interact with clarity, practising timing and the kind of response the criteria value.
YOUR FIRST LESSON
Start with an assessment
Paid first lesson · 60 minutes
The first lesson looks at your current performance, your target level and intended date, and the gaps worth addressing first. You leave with an agreed plan for practice and feedback.
From there, progress becomes visible through comparable tasks, detailed feedback on writing and speaking, and timed practice where it is useful.
Book an assessment lessonDELE QUESTIONS
Before you start
Do I need to know my level?
No. If you are unsure, the first lesson helps you understand your current level and which DELE level is a realistic target. The choice of exam level remains yours.
Are lessons individual?
Yes. Every lesson is a live, one-to-one 60-minute online session with Pablo.
How many lessons do I need?
It depends on your starting point, target level and date. A recommendation is made after the assessment; you can start with a single lesson or a package.
Does a package guarantee a pass?
No. No preparation can guarantee an exam result. Lessons aim to make your Spanish stronger and your understanding of the exam clearer.
